Fiber Optic Laser Blood Flowmeter OMEGAFLO

The laser tissue blood flowmeter, OMEGAFLO series, is an instrument for measuring tissue blood flow, blood volume and blood flow velocity of skin, brain, internal organs, etc..

OMEGAFLO can measure the blood flow continuously and non-invasively, compared to H2 and Xe clearance method , and is widely used from in fundamental research to in clinical applications.
The OMEGAFLO uses a laser diode having the wavelength hardly affected by the difference of absorption due to the oxy – deoxy condition of erythrocytes. The measurement depth is about 1 mm from tissue surface. The OMEGAFLO shows and outputs three parameters, tissue blood flow, tissue blood volume and blood flow velocity, and it is easy to understand the tissue condition under study by these parameters.

モデル

  • Blood flow is operated based on FFT by software. Operation frequency range can be set by users.
  • Non-contact model(FLO-N1)

Blood flow can be measured without contacting a probe. Tissue can be treated during measuring blood flow. Soft tissue, wound and mucous can be measured.

  • Conventional (FLO-C1)

Fiber optic probe is attached on tissue. Many kind of probes can be sued. Thinnest : φ0.25mm×2

  • Fast blood flow model(FLO-C1 BV)

Detection rage is 5 times of FLO-C1. For fast blood flow measurement.

  • Microscope model(FLO-C1 EL) :

Laser is directly irradiated on tissue on a microscope and the scattered light is detected by a probe through or without the microscope.

Probes

For FLO-N1(Non-contact)
Non-contact probes and contact probes can be used.
For FLO-C1
Contact probes can be used. DS(disk shape), NS(needle shape) and GJ(joint probe)are popular.
For FLO-C1 BV
All contact probes can be used.
For FLO-C1 EL
Special probe is set with the instrument.:
For Flo-Lab
All contact probes can be used.
